I could hear the neighbors chatting and laughing from the next door. It was noisy and no one at the hotel took any hint. Another issue was that there was no variety in the dishes. It wasn't nice. I used to use your hotel before and I confidently say you have receded in quality. This isn't good.

Most of thr rooms were unclean with dirty walls, leaking toilets. The housekeepers were doing selective cleaning. Dirty water running from tap, AC not working properly. Water heater not working.

I am currently there and I am not enjoying my stay. There is epileptic power supply, the AC is not in perfect condition, the floor is not clean enough, the television channels are always being tampered with. How can there be up to 3 sports channels, even the only channel that had African Magic Epic was turned to sports again. Nothing was done even when I complained. The staff are really nice. If not that am desperate, I would have left and also leave the money for them.

My stay at the hotel was fair. The management of the hotel needs to improve on their facilities. The room was always flooded after we had our bath and the cleaner kept on coming in to mop the floor. I complained about it to the staff that there should be a curtain at the entrance of the toilet and bathroom, this will at least block the water from spreading to the room.

The Beni Gold Hotel And Apartments is very different from what is displayed on the internet. The room painting is looking very awkward, the bathroom was really small and always got flooded after having my bath as the floor was not well structured. The meals were okay but I really enjoyed the environment. I think the room paintings should be changed and the bathroom should also be fixed to attract more customers.

The hotel was not ready at all for my arrival. The front desk officers delayed me for over an hour at the reception before checking me into the hotel. The environment was smelling as if it had not been cleaned that day. The room I was initially supposed to stay was not even yet cleaned when I got there and I guess that was the reason for the long delay. The most annoying part of it all was that I had made the booking a full month prior to my check in so I was not expecting the treatment I got. I had to wait for the cleaners to clean the room. When I eventually got into the room that was supposedly just cleaned, I found the sheets to be dirty. I requested for it to be changed immediately but the cleaner argued greatly with me that the bed sheet was clean enough. She spoke to me rudely and did not even bother to apologize. I felt highly disrespected but I kept my calm since I was just going to stay there for a night. The customer service is really really bad and the hotel is not clean enough!

Stayed for 1 month plus at this hotel. Very good customer service, polite staff, rooms were large enough with wardrobes, safes, cold air con, mini fridge, power supply was constant, rooms were cleaned everyday, free breakfast buffet was very upmarket. A selection of Nigerian, European and Asian dishes. Facilities include swimming pool, gym, sauna and spa. The parking was secure and included in the room rate. I have found a place to stay and enjoy when in Nigeria.

My room was dirty and untidy, the bed sheet was also very dirty, there was no light. I was even given a torn bed spread. Apart from the uncleanliness of the hotel, every other thing was fine, the hotel attendants were jovial, the meal was okay and the environment was okay also.

The initial room we got had a faulty air condition, it didn't work but kept dripping water. We complained and got our room changed. There is good parking and walking space within the hotel too, compared to some hotels that sometimes leave one feeling claustrophobic. I will really recommended this spot to anyone looking for an affordable hotel on the Island with good service and facilities - wifi, gym, 24hours dining, etc. The classic rooms are quite small but standard rooms are just right. Overall, for the FREE breakfast, good facilities, affordability and respectful staff, I'll definitely consider Beni Gold for my next visit to Lagos.

The hotel isn't that bad but it could be better. They need to pay attention to details. There wasn't toiletries in the room I stayed.The towels were dirty also, these things are not supposed to be that way.

Though it was easy for me to locate the hotel but on getting there what I expected was not what I met, then i was left with no choice than to manage. The environment was rough and noisy the bathroom and toilet not properly washed. The food so expensive and so little. They really need to try and keep their environment neat and fumigate the room because mosquitoes actually fed on me through out the night. The few things I like about this hotel is the fact that they have good staff and stable power and water supply with a working AC.

I checked in on the 24th of June, 2017 and paid for two nights. I booked more than two weeks in advance and requested for Andre Rose to be made available on my check in. Instead of the requested Andre Rose, they brought Moet Rose and opened it before I noticed it was Moet. I had to pay for what I neither requested nor budgeted for. Any time I step out of the room and close the door, it will jam and refuse to open from outside. I had to call the porter twice. The AC was not functioning properly. I sweated all through the night! The Oha soup I was served that night was the worst I had eaten in my whole life! When I complained of all these things, little or no attempt was made to fix things. I killed at least three cockroaches in the night. After the first night, I had enough and decided to check out instead of spending another night in such conditions . I informed the receptionist and demanded for a refund of the second night as I won't be staying. She refused and told me there's no money to give me. I dropped my bank account details and left. I kept calling almost on a daily basis to remind them, but it's one excuse or the other. I finally got the refund yesterday.

Twice my room was changed and every time I got a damp room only that the second room was more manageable. The first room had a roof that was leaking in water. I don't understand why anyone would be checked into such.

The room settings is okay, though rooms of this magnitude should have atleast hangers at the wardrobe. Something has to be done in the bathroom because it needs some maintenance. Sport channels would be fair rather than these SHOWCASE channel with outdated indigenous movies.

Well, I had a god stay at the Hotel. My only complaint was about the front desk lady. She is not polite at all. If they really want to still be in business they should move her to the Kitchen or the security post.

The bathroom had only a shower, there was no bucket there. Asides these,the bed was comfortable with clean sheets and other things were just okay. I would rate the hotel a 6.5 out of 10.

The hotel is so over rated and doesn't provide enough service that deserves the rooms price tags, I Checked in on 23rd December 2018. The rooms are small, you can barely move around comfortably. The toilets need maintenance. Its so small and the bathing stand had no doors, when you are having your bath water splashes all over the bathroom/ toilet floor. I found out that the toilet wasn't properly flushed when I got in. The wardrobe size and configuration should be looked into. The TV in the room I stayed was bad, it was just not fit for purpose .

I liked the services and it's quite organized and neat but what I hated was the food. It was absolutely tasteless. I believe a hotel with such standard can get a good chef to cook so when one buys expensive food it'll be worth the money. It hurts eating such meal so please improve on this.

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel only that I have a few issues. The water heater was not working, I was forced to bath cold water. The air condition did not have a remote, it was really inconveniencing to have to get up every time you have to adjust it.

I am a regular user of the hotel and have been there for multiple times now. It's my stop point whenever I am in the Island. The hotel is modest but very nice, their facilities are functional and they have a warm attitude there, anyone would like it there.

The hotel is good. However, I would advice the hotel to make sure the rooms are ready before a guest gets to the hotel because when I got there, they gave me a room when a guest had not left. When I eventually settled in my room, there was no towel until the next day. Other than this, the hotel is fine.

When i got to the hotel I had to wait about 20 minutes before I could be checked into a room. The room was not cleaned and was smelling. I had to wait another 30 minutes before I was finally checked in to a room. I think the hotel should be more organised than what I experienced at check-in. Besides that, I think everything else is quite alright with the place.

Was so full of expectation when I got to hotel. My friend and I got to the room and as we were settling in, I started feeling bites on my body, so I covered my legs and even under the duvet, I was still feeling the bites. Somehow I turned to the left and looked on the bed and saw a bedbug crawling on the bed. I was so livid. I called the reception and told them what I saw. They acted so indifferent saying it has been awhile anyone complained of bedbugs and that they would send someone to spray the room. No one came to the room until about 15 mins later, all this while the bedbug was strolling on the bed. I started packing my things, my friend also packed her stuff. Someone from the hotel came and sprayed the bug and it died. I asked that they change our room and that they spray the room with insecticide before we move there. It took forever for them to get the room ready for us go in, and we asked for new sheets. We were in the room with bugs waiting for the smell of the spray to subside and they kept asking us to leave the room. Of course we did not leave until we felt the smell had subsided. When we got into the room, the smell was still very strong, so we asked to go back to the other room to stay awhile because we were literally suffocating in the room. The receptionist said she would send the key. We stood in the hallway like homeless ladies for well over 15 mins waiting for the key to be brought up. When no one came, I went to the reception and started screaming. And was informed by the bell boy that the reception refused to give him the key. It was only after I shouted and requested for my money back that they gave us the key. Long story short, the entire ordeal lasted from to 12 am to past 2 am in the morning. The receptionist was so nasty and extremely unhelpful. The other receptionist was loosening her hair while we were in front of her. Customer service was horrible and only the bellboy was sympathetic and helpful. I would never stay here again or recommend that anyone to do so. Lesson learnt: I would never pay for more than one night in any hotel in Nigeria, unless I have enjoyed the first night because they will never refund your money if you decide to leave.

Honestly, my stay at the hotel was not so great. I made a reservation for a room for three guests which was already confirmed but on getting to the hotel, the room given could only serve two guests. I was upset but it was eventually sorted out. The pictures posted on the website were entirely different from what we saw there physically. The pictures were deceptive, I must say. The staff were not polite at all throughout the stay at the hotel, they did not even receive us well. They were acting unnecessarily cold towards my guests and I which is very bad. The hotel management should work on improving their customer services.

I don't even know where to start from, first I asked for the new wing and I was given the old wing. Myself and my husband were disappointed when we got there. The old wing is lame and everything we asked for in the kitchen was not provided, my husband was angry, our rooms had to be changed three times and we still were not satisfied. I think they should scrap the old wing. The staff were a let down, to be honest. The day we were to check out they were asking for money. Something has to be done about that place.
