Chester Fries, Abuja - Great Place to Eat

Chester Fries

Chester fries is an eatery in Wuse zone 1, Abuja.

It is located around a few banks and offices along Olusegun Obasanjo Express Way. It is a yellow-and-green duplex building on Bamako street.

Chester Fries serves a variety of snacks and food like meat pie, bread, chicken pie, fish pie, donuts, pepper soups of about Five kinds, jollof rice, fried rice, moi moi, Eba, fufu, Semovita, pounded yam.

A variety of Nigerian soups, cakes popcorn, ice cream are also available.

Going to Chester fries on a weekday is quite different from visiting the place during the weekend. This is because on week days, the place is usually jampacked with bankers and workers of nearby offices like the NDE, NAFDAC, Keystone bank, First bank, UBA, and a few others.

The parking space available is usually crowded. If you go on a Saturday, you will generally find families and couples there. The restaurant is usually open between 9am and 8pm, Mondays to Saturday. They do not open early on Sundays.

The upstairs is a play den for kids. It is mostly sparsely occupied unless it’s a weekend and there are lots

of kids around. They usually do all their cooking behind the building, the kitchen section is usually chaotic. Customers hardly get a sneak peak in but sometimes when you are the display counter, or trying to place an order, you get to see what’s happening at the background.

Outside is where you get your popcorn, ice cream and shawarma, every other thing is sold inside.

One thing they are famous for is their bread, and if you happen to stop by, be sure to buy a loaf! They have an interesting variety to choose from.

The other branch of Chester Fries is located at Gwarimpa.
