Very Good4
We were at the weaver Hotel yesterday evening after the close of work. Below are our observations:
Right from the entrance of the Hotel, we observed that it was a government old building. It looks like old abandoned business center with lots of empty cartons packed in front of it. I think the hotel manager was able to secure a section of the 5th floor, did a quick fix to accommodate guests. We were directed to a narrow pathway to climb the stairs all the way to the fifth floor as lift was not available due to power outage.
When we got to the 5th floor we inspected three rooms that was shown to us. The only good thing in the room was the size. The walls were already peeling as if it was soaked with water, we can’t even guarantee the working condition of the AC since they took light and we were told to wait that they will soon bring light. That sounded like there was no generator of it is faulty. The hotel do not have any private security. Just a simple door into the reception, then you will be on your way to kidnap the guest in their respective rooms. I have attached the pictures of the front view for you to appreciate. I could not do same for the rooms else they become uncomfortable with us.
In summary, from security point of view, it is extremely poor; not recommendable.
Lack of basic facility (Electricity, internet access, neat environment) was also a major factor in the rejection of this hotel.
